Zoe Weasner

Jun, 2003 — Tue, Jun 20, 2017

Zoe always lived up to her name which means “life”. Born in June of 2003 as a barn cat, she came to be a house kitten at approximately 7 weeks old. Zoe fit in the palm of her human mother’s hand. Zoe was so small and so full of life escaping rooms by squeezing underneath doors, running up and down curtains and furniture. As Zoe matured she taught herself how to open doors since she no longer could squeeze under them. Zoe protected her family from a mouse twice (that they know of) and was very proud of her accomplishments. Zoe loved playing with her plastic springs, receiving brushings, kisses, cuddles and she even loved her baths and was proud of her beautiful lion style haircuts. Zoe was just so full of love and life.

Zoe battled several health ailments during her short time here and always made it through them surprising her health care team and earning her the label of “Miracle Cat” at her vet clinic. Zoe developed diabetes in 2015 at the age of 12 years and was insulin dependent, yet she went into remission for short periods of time but alas it was all too much for her little body to continue to endure. Zoe passed away quickly in her home on the evening of June 20, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones.

Zoe is predeceased by her canine sister Kaila and ferret brother Odin. Zoe leaves behind her canine brother Knox, canine sister Zyra and her human mother whom all love her and miss her very much. Even though Zoe is no longer here physically just as her name means “life”, Zoe will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones. Cremation has taken place and Zoe’s urn will remain with her family.
