Tina Bennett

The best trip of our lives happened on April 1, 2000 when we made the long drive to Sudbury to adopt a striking red and white Italian Greyhound girl named Tina. It was amazing to see such a tiny girl with such a huge personality – she could be downright adorably saucy at times. Tina brought much joy to our lives with her zest for life and boundless energy. We will forever treasure the memories of her springing up the backyard hill, with such speed and grace, chasing her favourite toys always returning them to keep the game going as long as possible; her delight every Christmas as she enthusiastically retrieved her stocking; her carefully sniffing out the warm rays of sunshine for a nap; and the many thousands of enjoyable walks we shared together. Tina was extremely intelligent and there was a lovely gentleness about her nature. We often joked that she was 7.4 lbs. of pure ferocity, but in reality, she was the sweetest of all angels. She was always willing to accept other animals in the family playing and being friends with the Bunnies. Tina was a pure “lap dog” displaying so much affection sharing kisses and snuggles with us. You will forever be remembered with love, Bella Valentina, our beautiful Valentine. (February 14, 1999 – April 13, 2013) Dad & Mommy xoxo
