Dutchy

Sat, Sep 05, 2009 — Tue, Nov 29, 2022

I saw a sign on a storefront that said ‘Golden Puppies’ for sale. I’d just dropped my daughter off at college and was missing her terribly. It was a sign.
I saw Dutchy in the pack of 8 … she was the runt. I knew she was the one.
She was a gentle girl, she loved our older dog Nestle and they bonded.
She slept on our bed, with me on the couch, loved her rubs, treats and to be around people. She had a few illnesses that set her back; she gained some weight and we noticed her limp but she still loved her walks.
Up until 2 days before she passed, she played catch, went for a very slow walk but she loved it. Our neighbours jokingly called her ‘Flash’.
She died at home and she was so loved. I feel like a piece of my heart is gone.
We will never forget you my lovey bug… you were our favourite hello and saddest goodbye.
Gabe your fur brother is missing you so much too- your grandbaby boys you loved so much.
Go visit grampa, Nestle in heaven and play and run with no pain. I love you so much my girl.
Until we meet again- you did leave paw prints on my heart.
Mom and your entire family.
