Café Spencer

2005 — Tue, Feb 26, 2019

Café became apart of the Spencer family when Marlene, Victoria and Vanessa got her at PJ's Pet Centre in Yorkdale Shopping Mall in Toronto, Ontario, Canada back in 2005, when she was still a kitten.

From getting stuck behind the fridge, getting spayed, her love of shredding the furniture with her claws, family movie nights, her admiration of flowers (and getting pollen on her and have a yellow-stained face for weeks), enduring the Toronto propane explosion in 2008, moving to different places to live, her love of tuna and Temptations treats, and theres nothing she loved more than soaking up the sun during the summer. Her favorite time of the day was morning, especially during the summer when the warm, bright sun shines through the windows.

It was horrible watching her become weaker and sicker and having her on a whole bunch of medications. It first started with her thyroid, then she had a mild form of liver disease... an ear infection, a virus in her white blood cells, all of which, resulted in her to stop eating and for us to feed her with a syringe.

She passed away in the comfort of her own home in Toronto during the early hours on February 26, 2019, only a few hours before we were going to take her to the vet to put her to sleep for a very long cat nap.

Rest in peace and paradise, Café Spencer.

We miss and love you so much and you will always be apart of this family. And you will always be our pretty girl.
