Cat Cremation Simcoe County and surrounding area

Being a family-run business, Pets at Peace consists of a small but caring team. As we all dote on our own pets and have had our own losses, we genuinely understand how heartbreaking it can be to say goodbye to yours.

Chances are you are reading this because you have either lost a loving pet or you are about to make a very difficult decision. The staff at Pets at Peace recognises this and the special bond that makes a pet a family member.

Our team at Pets at Peace knows that it is not easy saying goodbye to a longtime companion such as a cat. We are dedicated to providing caring, professional and compassionate cat cremation service whether they have passed away recently or if you are pre-planning for their passing.

Types of cat cremation:

There are  options for cat cremation:

  • Individual cremation

    • An Individual cremation involves your pet being cremated in separated compartments in the crematory chamber. You will be assured that it is only your cats ashes you are receiving. An urn is included

  • Communal cremation

With this option, no pet ashes are returned to the family as the ashes are co-mingled with other pets. You can order a pawprint casting as a lasting memory of your pet. Communally cremated pet ashes are respectfully laid to rest at Sandy Ridge Pet Cemetery in Eden, Ontario

Private Cremation

When you choose private cremation, the cremation chamber will be reserved for your pet ONLY. When the cremation process is complete, we ensure you receive only the cremated remains of your pet. No family attendance for this process. Urn is included.

  • Witnessed cremation

    • A witnessed cremation will give the family a chance to view the cat cremation process if they would like to. Some people feel that this makes it easier to create closure with their cat. Other people want to be sure that the ashes that they are receiving truly belong to their cat. Unavailable at this time

How much would a cat cremation cost?
